Gruppo Fipa has launched the first hull in its Maiora 35 Exuma model.
The 35.1 metre yacht is designed specifically for smooth cruising, guest privacy and low draft cruising in shallow waters. Key features include a convertible flybridge with a sliding “moon roof”, allowing guests to sit beneath the stars.
Accommodation is for a total of 11 guests in a “sober and elegant” interior. The master stateroom sits on the main deck while four additional guest cabins are located on the lower deck. The crew quarters meanwhile allows for a staff of five.
Founder and president of Gruppo Fipa, Francesco Guidetti, highlighted the yacht’s “high windows” and “low furniture”, allowing guests to "enjoy a continuous view towards the sea.”
He revealed that the owner is a repeat client who “actively took part in the realisation” of the model by asking “for a bright design, gained with the union of smooth lines and stronger details, highlighting a sophisticated and classy mood”.
Power comes from three Caterpillar C32 Acert 1925hp engines for a top speed of 35 knots and cruising speed of between 28-30 knots. The yacht has a range of 1,100 nautical miles and fuel capacity of 22,000 litres.
The tender garage meanwhile is large enough to swallow a 6.7 metre guest tender and second 3.6 metre crew tender.
Following delivery this month, the yacht will cruise the Mediterranean before heading to the Bahamas.
